Silent Impact: Celebrating 20 Years of Masaka School for the Deaf – Educating, Empowering and Enabling Deaf Children
On Saturday, March 22, we gathered with overwhelming joy and gratitude to commemorate a remarkable milestone, the 20th anniversary of the Masaka School for the Deaf. This celebration was not just an event; it was a testament to the incredible journey we have embarked on together, one filled with hope, perseverance, and triumph.
The celebration was graced by the esteemed presence of HRH The Nnaabagereka (Queen of Buganda), alongside more than 800 jubilant guests who came to honor this significant occasion. Among them were 133 Deaf youth, proud alumni of our school, who have blossomed into inspiring individuals with bright futures. It was a heartwarming reunion that underscored the beautiful community spirit that Masaka School for the Deaf has fostered over the years.
